The Blood Pelts are my first space wolves pack painted. From the fluff of my own company:

"A fierce pack of hunters, who wear red pelt-amulets. Besides the name of the pack, the amulets are obtained from the red-wolves who inhabit the south of the Fang on the summer. Those fierce monsters are not so great in combat than fenrisian wolves, but are hard to find in the red bush woods who form up on the region, wich make every blood pelt a experienced tracker and ambusher. Its is very common for members of this pack to join the Wolf Scouts of the company."

The seven "regulars" together (regulars are armed with Bolter, Bolt Pistol and Chain Sword. The models are meant to represent that, all together)

The regulars split up in 2 squads

The 3 Specialists in the squad: Marked by Wulfen with Wolf Standart, Wolf Guard with PF and Combi-Melta, and Melta-Gunner

Give me your thouhths about them, be harsh if needed... Contructive Critizes are very welcome ^^

The yellow shoulder pads look a bit too dirty, and thte armor looks too homogeneous in color. Like, there's no contrast between the silver and whatever other colors you used on their armor. Maybe throw some brighter colors in there!

Their bases look kinda odd as well, how'd you do the snow effect?

Thank you

Notes taken, will be very usefull in the next batch of grey hunters to paint...

The snow effect is not the best one you can use around... i dont have the right flock, so i just base them with sand (rough sand, the one used in civil constructions to make concrete), and paint it white.

ah. Try hitting the snow with some dark black ink wash, then drybrushing white over it again... will make it look like it has some more depth to it, rather than just white rocks

Baking soda and white glue works just fine for snow as well.

Work more on the skin, it looks like you've used only 1 coat. Highlight it then wash and highlight again. I know you said you no longer do SW but I'm sure ork models give you lots of flesh to work on.
