I joined a 40K 6E escalation league.

This month we are limited to:
500 points
No vehicles, other than dedicated transports
No Vehicles with AV14
No 2+ saves on anything, other than HQ

This is what I came up with....

HQ
Mega Nob - Mega Armor, Twin Linked Shootas, Power Klaw (60+40=100)

TROOP 1
'Ard Boyz - (x30) 'Eavy Armor, Shootas, Nob, 3 Rokkit Launchas (300+10+30= 340)

TROOP 2
Boyz - (x10) Slugga & Choppa (60)
Next month these restrictions disapear, the points get bumped up tp 750, and I'll be free to play the army I really want to play (Big Meks, Dredds, Kans, and Lootas)

In the mean time, is there anything blatantly wrong with my army list that's going to haunt me in 6E ?

You can get 20 more Boyz if you drop the 'Ard Boyz down to regular boyz. Boyz before Toyz. 3 units of 20 Would do pretty well.

Sluggas are pretty much outclassed now.

Thanks Clavix, I appreciate the input. That is pretty much traditional Ork wisdom.

I know I'm going up against a lot of AP5 weapons, and I'm hoping that Eavy Armor will keep my main unit of boyz from just becoming target practice.
