As I was trying to clean the needle in the Revell Contacta glue, I managed to break it. So I decided I was done with that, I'm very happy about the glue but I want to try something else.
I heard the Tamiya plastic cement was a good choice, so I went on ebay but all I could find was a few from Taiwan.

Whats your opinion on the Tamiya cement and should I trust these from Taiwan, I'm afraid I wont get the real product.

Is there any other glues anyone would recommend? I don't mind the Revell, but I'm fed up with the needle!

I can vouch for the Tamiya Extra Thin, I've been using it for about 8-10 years now. There is a brush applicator attached to the cap and is a great glue to use and has many more uses that just gluing, Call your local hobby shops in your area, most well stocked shops carry the Tamiya line.

As for trusting anyone on eBay.......Well that's up to you.
Hope this helps

To clear a revel glue needle, hold it over the a lighter for a few seconds - this vapourises the glue residue in the needle.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Thanks for your inputs, I'm gambeling on the one from Hong Kong, I do not have any hobby shops near me with this product, I live in a very sad part of Norway, for this hobby.

Thanks for the tip on the revell needle, now I know how to handle that problem for the next one I get
I tried to use a needle, but it was too short and I tried to cut the needles lenght, but I managed to squeeze the needle/tube togetter so I did not get my needle into the tube, heh...

I use two kinds of plastic cement.

An extra-thin in a jar (Tamiya aren't the only ones who do it. Testors do it, Revell does it, Mr Hobby even does it) and the Contacta pro bottle (I have a piece of 8a fuse wire inserted into the nozzle atm. I pull it out when I want to use it, and it reams out any gunk in the tube - I wipe it off and put it back in when I stop using it before capping it.) because they have different uses.

The jar is mainly for the cutting of my Squadron green putty (gives it the consistency of LGS - without the hassle of going to a GW to get that stuff - the only store in the area that carries it - as opposed to the SG and liquid poly that I can get at ANY model store).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
