So, yeah, I'm a noob, or I am when it comes to wargaming at least. Been running tabletop RPGs for years and years, but never tried war-games ... dunno why. One of my friends finally convinced me to give it a shot though, and after pursuing the web for a bit, I am just totally hooked on Dark Eldar now.
Yep. Totally hooked.
Going out sometime this week to pick up some paints and a few boxes of minis. Excited! I'm a decent artist, but I haven't done any modeling since I was a kid. Really looking forward to this, both the painting and the pew-pew.
Anybody have any suggestions for me?

First of all, welcome to DakkaDakka. 
Feel free to ask questions around the forum; aisde from the occasional troll, everyone here is pretty friendly.
I don't have any experience with Dark Eldar so I probably won't be able to help you out much with that (I play Orks xP) but if you need help with terrain projects, feel free to send me a pm. There are tons more people with much more hobby experience than me on this forum, but I'm all too happy to help where I can.
