I've been working on my own Space Marine chapter force for a while now and am in the process of making it a heavily converted, fully painted force to play. However with the advent of 6th I felt it would be a shame not to take advantage of the new shiny allies rles to fluff out a force that was competitive but aesthetically compatible. The concept of features marines from other chapters was appealing but I was swayed by the option of features elite guardsmen without having to paint hundreds of models to have a competitive force. Adding fluff for an attached guard regiment to my chapters background I have come up with the concept:

Nickname: Giant Hunters

Specialisation: Elite guardsmen trained for the sole purpose of exterminating Traitor Space Marines when the Angels Infernus cannot be dispatched. Often engaging in brutal training exercises against the angels to hone their combat skills and bring the emperors justice to the fallen brethren. The Giant Hunters (named for their capacity to fell the 10ft fallen marines) carry immense amounts of plasma into battle, deployed in elite veteran units and supported by plasma mounted vehicles.

For this attached force I am replicating my Marines paint scheme across the guardsmen, however I had never taken up the chance to paint a full vehicle. I looked through some of the tutorials on colours on a flat surface, and battle damaging a tank and made my best attempt on the main chassis.

Advice on the scheme would be much appreciated as I have to apply it to the rest of the tank.
