Why do people still post things like this?
We know for a fact that EVERY metal model is being made into Finecast. If they are taken down, it means that they are most likely in the next batch of Finecast releases.
This quit being news after the second time it happened. Now it seems like every week someone makes a thread about it.

Shrieker Jetbike (shuriken cannon Jetbike Guardian) and Shining Spears fit in the "finecast upgrade pack" to regular Jetbikes like Broadsides got.

We know why and what, be we don't know when until this happens. The when is news. Unless you'd like to enlighten us and tell us exactly when the Phoenix Lords will be getting the same treatment.

There is a point to it, if you know something will go finecast soon you might still have a chance to get it in metal before you are forced to deal with all the defections/miscasts/etc.

How does this at all allow us to buy ahead of time?
1. GW announced that ALL metal will be resin.
2. GW starts changing metal models to resin.
3. GW does not announce the order in which this will be done.
4. Doomsday clock starts counting down on every metal model.
If you wanted a metal version, you really should have bought them when it was announced, since they didn't say what order it would happen in. These threads don't allow people to buy the metal ones anymore, all they do is say that X was removed from the site.
Sure, the rumor threads that PREDICT finecast releases allow people to hopefully stock up on metal. This isn't a prediction thread, it's a reaction thread, which isn't a rumor, and it isn't really news as we knew that every metal model would be taken down and released in resin.
All this thread accomplishes is letting people know that the clock ran out on the window to buy those models in metal. That isn't really helpful.

Because the site taking them down means the store magically lost all of the product too, right?

Agreeing with Mike. Even if this thread is just like "Hey guys, there's a Finecast Yriel out soon!" that's News and hence it is deserving of a place in this Section.

Yep I like it cause finecast means it is easier to work with(conversion wise) and with the hybrid kits it means I can work with what I already have instead of having to pay for more than I need
Great catch OP, Thank you

The best use of a thread like this.. is to allow people like me who dont want finecast crap to start trolling Ebay for the stuff i need, as oposed to going to my local store and wasting my time there.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

No one did anything wrong here, except for maybe get a bit too hot under the collar for no reason.
However, it is true, this is not really news or rumor anymore, things are constantly being taken down and re-released as finecast, and although it would be news to find out BEFORE the metals went off the shelves, it is not news to find out after. Just logical deduction.
As such the thread is closed, as it a question not a confirmation, which is against the rules.
