I'm looking to complete a Dreadnought I've been working on, but I don't know how I can achieve a scorched effect on the exhausts or upon the Flamer nozzle it's equipped with. If anybody could suggest how to achieve this and what paints to use It would be a great help. I'm looking to use a copper based scheme for the exhaust and flamer nozzle but a silver or steel effect is okay.

Also, for the exhaust stacks on a dreadnought, paint them whatever color you want (usually a gunmetal or copper metallic) and use an exhaust black weathering pigment on and around it for a good effect.

Cheers mate, i'll give them each a go on the exhausts and the flamer nozzle respectively. Seems i'll be needing a few more washes and paints.... Thanks anyway
