Hi guys, just thought I´d share my current project which is a forward command center for my Praetors of Orpheus themed Space Marine Army.
I have already built and based the main structure but I´m going to add some tech bits and various details before I finish the paintjob.
What I have in mind for the details are e.g. supply crates and barrels on the outside and inside, some sort of lighting (possibly functional), some extra detailing on the outside and inside walls, computers; either "traditional" looking or like a holographic projector type of thing et.c.
For the base I think I´ll go with a desert or sandy type of ground to match up with my other pieces and then some basic weathering on the outside.
But this is what I have for now, I hope you like it and please tell me what you guys think

Front

Side

Rear

Some unfinished guys for scale

The shell comes off to allow for stuff to happen inside.

Great start! What did you use for the fences i cant quite tell? This kind of reminds me of the SM buildings that land from orbit in dawn of war. Are you planning to add some fixed weapons or automatted turrets? surely a space marine command center wouldnt be without firepower. Looks really cool tho, im inspired to build now

Thank you lonedrow02

Yes I got the inspiration from playing Dawn of War and I was thinking of adding some vertical strips and other details to further resemble the buildings in the game
The fencing is a "non stick grill mat" like this thing:

also, mmmm.... bacon.....
It´s great as it is coated with I-have-no-idea and the strands don´t come apart when it´s cut to size, but then super-glue does not work on it, it does not kid when it says "Non-Stick"

Now... back on track... Gun Turrets are an excellent idea! I think I´ll have them modular however so I can place them all around outside the fencing which itself will be electrified (supposedly).

BACON!!!

The Comand Center is nice, but I can't help but think it needs a few more antennas, and maybe a small turret of some form.

If I had a dollar for every dollar I spent I'd have all my money back.

Just a quick update here, starting to put on some details (I´m a little short on time due to work and all).
I made a little power generator / communication box on the back and put the gate posts at the front.
I´m working on the computers that will go inside as well some supply crates and light posts et.c.
The paint that is already on is just for reference as I will build a little upon the existing structure.

Power generator / comm.box:

Gate posts:

Supply crates, need some more detailing.
