I'm really tired of playing segregated armies. Since the Empire of "Man" always struck me as influenced by Heinlein, Haldeman, Herbert, et all I decided my new Guard army (the 1st Human Army I've built since 1990) will be co-ed. I'm building a codex IG army with Elysian and Krieg figures and (mostly) GW vehicles and walkers. Since I couldn't find a figure to represent Lukas Bastonne for my veteran squad I decided to start there. This is a figure I put together out of an Elysian Drop Troop and a Chapter House Abbithan Banshee. I call her Sgt. Lucretia Bastonne.

I combined an old RT bolter pistol with a lasgun barrel to make the hot shot laspistol as well as some bits from the bit box.

I thought about the SCA fighters walking into battle with their swords behind their back and clobbering slower opponents with a sudden upward strike so I decided to put Lucretia's power weapon in a ready position behind her back. Since she's a more diminutive figure I didn't see any reason not to give her a long dagger, rather than the typical monster Claymore most ICs have. I filed down a CC weapon from a Dark Angel Veteran's pack.

I'm converting a lot of my Elysian figures this way, saving the torsos and heads for vehicle cusomization, but this is the figure that's transformed the most.
