Can storm ravens still deep strike now that they are fliers since as far as i understand it they must come in from reserve zooming?

A Flyer can come on the board Hovering, there is no requirement to be Zooming. (Assuming the Flyer can Hover, of course)

Deep Striking is also allowed - the flyer is still starting the game in Reserves.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
A flyer coming in from Ongoing Reserves must Zoom, it can't Deep Strike or come in Hovering.

Consensus is that a Flyer can Deep Strike while zooming, as Deep Striking vehicles count as moving at Cruising Speed, which fulfils the minimum speed Zooming Flyers need to move at to avoid being Wrecked.

And they can indeed Hover when coming out of reserves if it has the Hover type, see the Hover rule on page 81.
