Hi, I am a newbie to this forum but I have been collecting Warhammer 40k for quite a long time now. (Even though I don't seem to get any better at it.) I've just started playing 6th Ed. and know most of the major changes. In all of my battles I have won one of them at the very most.  I am trying to beat big bro (Farseer Tahril  ) but he has shooty Eldar so I'm struggling a bit. Okay a lot. I am currently looking for a big idea so I can finally beat him! 
Thanks to anyone who actually reads this amongst all the other posts.

Welcome to Dakka, Pigmyork.
If you are playing Orks, shootas and lootas are a great place to start.
I have always run my Orks shooty, and have had great success with them.
Much more advice along these lines can be found in the 40ktactics and army lists forums.
So, again welcome and have fun!
