Hey fellow Dakkites!

I had a quick question on painting (and to a lesser extent basing) a model that has a snowy theme/camoflauge to it.

I just started getting into dropzone commander (if you haven't already checked it out... go here: http://www.hawkwargames.com and youtube it ) and I really wanted to get across a very wintery/snowy themed army that wants to either blend in or have some sort of wintery color schemes.

Now when browsing on the interwebs I got images of these fellows:

But the thing is I play the Post Human Republic in Dropzone commander - and if anything they are more....hmmmm... tau/eldar like with their fluff and models (they are elite warriors that like shiny things).... so Hawk Wargames has em painted like this:

So I guess to ask the question - what would be a good wintery theme to get across with this army. I don't want it to be as glossy as Hawk Wargames, but I want it to be a bit shinier then the other pictures I showed - what colors would be best (GW colors would be best as I have a metric ton of them)?
