I'm heading to a tournament in the next few weeks and am looking to use my wolves for it. I've come up with these two alternatives for 1850 points, am hoping people can offer some advice or comments on them. This is my 1st tournament so I'm no expert on the types of list I'll be up against hence why I tried to do balanced lists.

List 1:

HQ:

Rune Priest (runic armour, chooser of the slain) with Living Lightning and Jaws 120

Ultimately it does come down to simply thunderwolves or not. I'm also a little unsure about drop-pods compared to rhinos, they both cost the same points wise but totally change the workings of the army, any input is welcome.

I would bring some properly deadly drop pods. You want to land and destroy the enemy. So either dreadnoughts or wolfguard to really make an impact immediately.
