So like the title says these are the first guys that I have tried doing some weathering on. I was going for a look of scraped paint and rust under that.. Looking to improve the look of my guys and tips are most welcome. Okay no more waiting

Im no expert (can't say I have done loads of weathering) but I like the top image, the bottom one I'm struggling to make out much, I suspect its the photo and not your mini but theres like no details hehe.
Judging from the top Image I like it.

Looks pretty good, especially the top pic.

Also looks like someone left their terminator armour out in the rain, the techmarine will not be happy
