So if multiple units (ie demons) are deep striking simultaneously, do you place one model and resolve it before moving onto the next, or do you place a model from each unit, and then begin resolving them?

The issue I'm trying to get at is I know a demon player who will place a unit directly behind one of mine, and then when it scatters he'll put another in the exact same place. So is this legal, or does he need to place all of his units before rolling for scatter for any of them?

Per unit, you can't have an entire army arrive on one DS roll.

You DS one unit and resolve it, before moving onto the next. This is because you move each unit "on" from reserves before moving on the next one.
