Usually when promoting yourself in this way its best to have an extensive gallery of a variety of different units, paint schemes and painting techniques that showcase your talents as a painter, and to start your post with a sample of your quality of work. There are a great number of people who want to do commissions, but only a small number of people who do great commissions. To distinguish yourself and build a reputation of talent and reliability you need to be able to demonstrate ability to those you are promoting your skills to.

As it stands your gallery is rather lacklustre in terms of photography and variety. Try putting a white backdrop on some of your pictures to draw attention to the models rather than the rest of the image, try your hand at other armies and paint schemes and present photos of that.

Example:

Nice picture, good TT standard but the photography lets it down

Counter example:

Again TT quality marine, properly backdropped and giving a variety of views for effect

Finally, and this is only due to having seen a limited selection of your capabilities, it might be worth working on your painting techniques before promoting yourself as a commission painter, I don't regard myself as an accomplished painted but produce models of a similar quality of those in your gallery. Self improvement will enhance your portfolio getting you more interest and nicer commission jobs.

I am not one to bash or flame war. So please don't take what I am about to say as anything but constructive criticism.

Looking over your gallery you are not ready to offer your services as a commission painter. I'll use the Rhino as an example.

I can see brush strokes quite clearly in your OSL from the head lamps, and around the front windshield. Your gold around the windshield bled onto the white around it, your lines are not crisp and clean. Your biggest hurdle in my small and humble opinion is lack of attention to detail. When zooming in on the headlights the grids are abysmal (and yes they are quite the pain in the a** to do even remotely well)

I do see potential and I hope you are working on your techniques.

Don't get discouraged if its what you truly want to do.

Well it depends on the quality level he intends to work at. For example you could just offer from a basic dip job to basic TT.

There are a ton of people out there who would pay for basic TT armies if the price is right. However I've seen people pay $120 for 5 less than tabletop terminators and be happy with them.

From your gallery the paint is good, but your still experimenting with advanced techniques. I'm sure you could do standard TT all day long. Which honestly is where the money is at.

There are a lot of people who want a painted army, but lack time, and skill, or time to spend getting the skills. Some people even just want basic dip jobs.

I started out doing work for friends at price per cost. IE a $35 box of tac marines would cost them $35 to paint. Of course one friend was like "But what if it's a character that costs $25 and is just one model?" my answer was $25 because no character ever deserves to be just TT. lol

As a rule though when painting other peoples model for money never bite off more than you can chew. If the guy orders TT, and you give him high standard TT he'll be ecstatic. If the guy orders something to a high standard like GT standard, and you give him a bottom end GT standard job he'll be displeased.

Basically work within your comfort level. Never experiment on other peoples models.
