Subject: All Irregular Army - Order Reserve Question
|

Can anyone tell me what happens in the following instance and where I can find the requisite rules? We've been over it several times and can't come to a consensus.
Player has an army consisting of 10 irregular models. Do they have an order pool (due to Lt. order/minimum order reserve) and how many orders would be in it?
Thanks!

They have an order pool of 11 orders. 1 for each model + Lt order. Each model has its OWN order - and they cannot give it to anyone else. The Lt has (2) but it can also not give them to anyone else. Unlike an army of 10 REGULAR models. They also have 11 orders, but CAN share the orders out amongst the 10 as they see fit. A certain scottish sectorial gets around this by using William Wallace. He has "inspiring leadership" and makes irregulars "regular" while he is the Lt (if he goes unconscious or dies, they lose it) - but you must use the LT profile option for him.

Chromedog, I think the meat of the OP's question is: do you have the minimum pool of 2 regular orders, in addition to your irregular ones?
I have encountered a similar situation and would also appreciate an authoritative answer.

No in an irregular army there is no regular orders. The models get their own order and the LT gets it's own order plus it's Lt order. If you get into a Loss of Lt situation you then have 2 regular orders, but none of their irregular orders (which are likely used to nominate a new Lt).
This is the danger of using an Irregular force, however its heavily counterbalanced by point cost.
