As far as heavy support goes, what do you think conveys 'orkiness' more? A deff dred or a battlewagon? or is there something else that you think represents 'Orks' better?

i'm not sure but i voted BW as deff dreads were only made because of a bunch of orks that saw a dreadnought and wanted one, whereas a battlewagon is for warbosses that want to cruise round the battlefield with as many guns as possible

I can see it now....Nids are now a collection of autonomous hive fleets there are multiple Hive Minds and they all war with one another in addition to everyone else. They speak to humans using telepathy, and they can now ally with Space Wolves as battle brothers, because reasons.
Tyranids talking to humans would be like you talking to your mashed potatoes or the probiotic in your kiefer drink. It is neither possible nor productive. Inside my mind I pinched my nipples and savored his bitter silence.

A future project I'll definitely have to do!

Yeah, the 'gun' thing is what's keeping me on the fence between the two... the Deff Dred is like a walking mish mash of stuff thats 'urty... but the battlewagon has the dakka.

The Battlewagon. A gigantic, ramshackle deathmachine loaded down with Orks and packed to the gunwales with every weapon imaginable.

The battlewagon. A simple piece of machinery with way too many weapons to operate efficiently. But somehow, it still does.

Why, the infamous shokk attack gun, ofcourse! A weapon twice the size of the user, that uses fancy bits & gubbinz to teleport small green creatures inside the bodies of the enemies. It can also do lots of funny stuff, like blowing up in your face! Whatever happens, someone will have a blast!
(no pun intended)

Not gold. Not plastic. Soon, Games Workshop miniatures will be forged entirely from narrative - a 5-man box costing £70, containing the highest-quality imaginary soldiers in the world. Why have miniatures? Why paint, assemble or convert when you can simply imagine your army? - Frozen Ocean |

I love the SAG! But can is it a Heavy Support option? Can you stick one on the Deff Dred or Battlewagon? (I don't have my codex with me)

Sadly, no. It's just for a Big Mek. Could become a cool model though, a deff dread with two SAGs and a big hopper full of snotlings!

That would be glorious! FW needs to get started on making one of those.
