I may be alone in this regard but I do think it would be helpful (and far less annoying) if posters were required to add a tag to their subject line indicating what form their rep takes.

I know I have little interest in reps without pics or following links to external sites and would prefer to be able to know what I am or am not opening based upon subject line.

Same goes for batrep threads that only contain a link to a youtube video or a rep actually posted on another site and no actual batrp present in the Dakka thread itself.

Any rule requiring a certain format in the title is doomed from the beginning. Just look at the swap shop and the empty bottles of alcohol surrounding the desk of the swap shop mods.

You're not alone. I see empty threads posted solely to provide links to other sites as only a little better than the infamous Romanian beta key spammer's contributions. I come to dakka got content ON dakka... not to see threads in which the subject of the thread is more informative than the thread itself.
