So i'm starting a new army and decided on necrons. I like the GW paint scheme you seen on the website and packaging.
My idea was to paint them roughly the same colour scheme as that but instead of the glowing green i was thinking changing that to red.
I've found red rods for the weapons on ebay so thats not an issue so basically i'm asking for your thoughts..... Will it look crap? ha
Thanks

Done right the red will look just as good as the green, there have been pictures of various coloured "energy" necrons, the best I've seen were yellow or bright blue power coils for various weaponry but there is no reason the red cant be just as effective.

We'll I would say i'm a brilliant painter. I strive to get an 'above tabletop' standard and im pretty happy with my ork army so far. I might put up a tester model in a couple of weeks with the colour scheme i'm talking about.
