Looking for a good alternative to fiends of Slaanesh as I'm considering them in my list. The only thing seriously stopping me from considering them is the way they look... I'm not the greatest of conversion so im a little hesitent.

For those that don't know what I'm looking for an alternative of xD its this: https://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1251504_99069915043_DaemonSlaaneshFiendDirect3Main_445x319.jpg

I've heard of it being done with seekers,

1. cut of the neck of the seeker and cut off the legs and head of the daemonette

2. then glue the two cut parts of the bodies together then greenstuff over it to hide the split,

3. replace the cut off daemonette head with a seeker head cut off of the seekers neck to make it look more beast like

4. then green-stuff on the extra breasts.

If you plan to use them in games you will have to buy 40mm bases however the money you save by making fiends this way far outweighs the cost of the green-stuff and bases.

This is good. Basically, Centaurs.

If you want a more "realistic" approach (basically not Seeker looking) you can take regular GW horses (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440121a&prodId=prod1290047) and then add a daemonette, from the waist up, where the horse head should be. Some green stuff again and a bigger base, give it a crazy pink scheme or whatever, and ta da! Honestly, the base is probably the biggest thing that'll help people from being confused.

The correct question is, would I be enjoying this hobby if I did this?

The correct audience is you.

I did come across something else in my interweb travels that looked quite interesting, apparently its initial tutorial was placed here?

Basically this, as It would go quite nicely if I used a soulgrinder basing it on the large goblin spider body instead of that mechanical-stuff-I-don't-agree-with-them-having?

The draider there doesn't even need a tutorial. It's just the spider from the goblins vs dwarves WHFB starter set with repositioned legs and a daemonette greenstuffed onto the top.

If you're going for a spider theme, then using the goblin giant spider for the lower portion of your soulgrinder is perfectly acceptable. You might find yourself in a rut for the upper torso if you cannot sculpt very well, though.

Yeah that could be problematic xD I have seen a large slaanesh like daemoness miniature from somewhere that might fit the spot, or the forgeworld keeper of secrets could potentially fit the bill.
