Hello, my Venerable Dready should be here anytime soon and I want to prepare for it. Mainly magnetizing, do the stubs on the arms fit snugly enough to not have to worry about using magnets to keep it in position? Thank you.

well my buddies dreadnaughts arms are not glued and they are interchangeable, i mean sure he lost some but from what i know they come off and on without trouble.

Wherever and whenever they appear they leave only destruction in their wake; they are the Lords of Death, Bringers of War. The Dark Angels.

Oh, you think the darkness is your ally, but you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!- Helen Keller

Okay thank you, I won't need to be worrying about magnetizing.

Just don't glue the arms onto the joints.

If they stay on snugly, then you don't need magnets. If some are fairly loose, then you may want to consider busting out that rare earth.

I know the arms on my DC dread were fairly loose, I put a magent on the end of the nub that goes into the shoulder of the arm and one on the inside of the shoulder. The magnets are about 1cm apart when the model is put together but I haven't had any issues with it falling apart.

Magnetising the rest of the model was easy. I now have a DC dread that can become a libby dread in 30 seconds.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.
