For a kult of speed list drop the lootas all together to get more nob bikers in your nob biker death star or more deff koptas
Drop the BCs from the nob bikers.
If you run nob bikers run them maxed out so they can take a ton of punishment and if you can maybe take wadakka but your warboss works just as good.

I would drop the riggers from the trukks as they are pretty easy to blow up, and sitting around waiting to get them moving again is not worth the points. On wagons or dreads it is a must, but you could spend the points towards another nob.

I second dropping the lootas for more nobs, a nob bike squad needs all of the bodies it can get.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Nob bikers are nice and all but you more than a third of army in one unit. This unit which can be very vulnerable.

I do really like the list. I would prefer to have rocket buggies for fast attack and more shooting at the back but it is a matter of taste.

grot riggers are not really worth as has been mentioned. Do the nob bikers have cyborg bodies?

Maybe run a unit of koptas with the warboss, then run the other kopta as a singleton. This probably the best way to keep them from running away.

Running a warboss with the deffkoptas isnt a good idea. You have to move the unit at the slowest models movement speed. And even if you were to run him with the deffkoptas there can only be a max unit size of 6 (5 deffkoptas and the warboss). This means if you lose just 2 modela you have to take a Ld check. The logic behind bringing large nob biker death stars is that you have so many saves, wounds, and T5 that at 1500pts only a couple army builds can barely bring enough shots to effect them and even then theyre not mobile enough to deal with them either.

Well make sure you move your Nobs to the Troops spot because of your Warboss, having them as a scroing unit is a bonus you should not forget.

A Kult of Speed with Trukks can be pretty fragile and you might be better with Wazdakka and Ork Bikers or 20 strength Mobs in BWs, but if these are the models you have then I guess you should use them.

Some of this could depend on what your opponent is running but if they focus fire on your troops in their paper thin trukks they should be able to see them off in two turns and then concentrate on the Nobs.

Your Nobs do not need the Big Choppas or the Bosspole if your Warboss is running with them as you gave him one. Cybork Bodies with the Painboy for the Nobz is a good idea to increase their stamina. If you are already going to spend a large number of points on a large unit, do not get cheap at the end when it comes to protecting your investment.

You might even be better off just making the regular Boyz Shootas on foot in groups of 20 and make a firebase with them and your Lootas, as the Warboss, Nobz, Kopptas and Dakkajet take the fight to your foe.

No, the slowest speed rule was 5th edition.
In both 5th edition jet bikers and bikers go at the same speed, unless the jet bikers take a short cut.
You can use LoS to distribute wounds and the warboss is hard, meaning you are a lot less likely to lose models.
Warboss with bosspole, load less likely to run and flee.
Nob bikers do not really need a warboss though.

Then other things like hit and run actually works. Seriously I4 to I2 is a huge difference.
the warboss can scout.
The warboss can separate if you have another job for him.

The actual downside is that deffkoptas and a warboss biker is a lot of points. However, the possible damage done by rockets and the fact turn 2 the warboss can go his own way and assault by himself, means they can justify their cost.
