A new piece of terrain I am working on. I'll be draping chains to the tower and perhaps adding another gun stand. The pit will be filled with rocks, a few dead bodies and some bones/blood.

You could always try putting some nids climbing out so it looks like the gun stands are trying to hold them back ?

Well I was thinking of putting a nid in the cave within the pit because the pit is being used as a torture pit

I was also considering magnetizing certain areas so I can switch out decorations to make the Tower/Stand more Chaos/Ork like.

Here is another piece I am also working on...my Mountain Fortress! (sorry for the horrible camera angles)

It is three floors in height and has a front balcony, the walkway on the side I will not fully attach so it can be placed on the piece
in various ways. The initial idea for this piece is that there would be a Landing Pad in front of it which is connected via the
walkway and is the only feasible way inside (choke point).

The door in the back on the "2nd" floor was by accident and purely improvised with a spare door, but I think turned out well.

Torture pit or sarlacc pit? I love it.

looks good, i recomend swapping the tooth picks for shortened bamboo skewers. Remember if a die falls in you'll have to get it back, you need room for less ouchies.

Good start. Don't be afraid to distress the toothpicks/wooden bits a bit (depending on their texture) before you paint them; if they're the poorly sanded cheapos, they might actually take the color and texture a little better than the quality stuff.
