A lot of it is the same, but some is not.
Personally, I like "apoxisculpt" its a bit more sticky...but it dries MUCH harder than traditional greenstuff.
The apoxiesculpt is also much cheaper...I think I got a huge tub of it for $30...which is about $200 worth of typical GS...

And if you're still set on GS, check out eBay or the original producer of the stuff, i'm pretty sure GW and others buy it from them to repackage it.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers. |

Polymeric Systems Inc MAKE Greenstuff (blue-yellow kneadatite).
You can get it in 36" length (roll of tape style) packaged by them from a variety of sources. My local hobby store sells it for a couple of dollars more than GW sell the 12" pack for.
Also available in alternate packing setups (two separate cylinders, with no mixing where they touch).

always get in in the roll of tape style. never buy the two tube format. turns into a complete mess and usually the 36 inch pack comes in a nice plastic box.

I agree, I've never had a problem with the tube stuff. The blue part use to stick insude the tube, but then I just got rid of the tubes and I know leave each part wrapped up. Seems to work well enough.

That's what I do. Take each out of the tube and wrap it up then put it in a zip-lock bag.

I went right onto the Polymeric systems website and ordered from one of their distributors. Got something like 10x as much as the repackaged GW stuff for like 3$ more after shipping. I've done quite a bit with it and still have soo much left. If you want a lot for cheap do that. I also did the 2 rolls in 1 tube and just left the plastic wrap on them and store in the same tube. They've never touched and I've had it for 5 months. I'll definately be getting the tape next time though. Just for ease of use.

The War Store
Separated tube form for $13. I checked out all of the distributors that Polymeric Systems had listed and TWS was cheapest for that. If you want a 36" strip you can get those from pretty much any of their other distributors for $14-$16.
