Here is a Blood Angels list with Space Wolves allies , this list is doing well in tournament style play (1999)

I think youre only able to take 1 HQ for allied detachments

If you are following the rules of the codex for that Allied detachment then you would be able to take 2 , since It does explicitly say in the SW codex that you can take 2 HQs per 1 HQ FOC slot.

So it might need clarification but the Space wolves can take two Rune Priest per single HQ slot.

Your allied detachment needs to have at least one troop choice. Long Fangs are Heavy Support.

EDIT : Nevermind. I didn't see that they were under the Rune Priests. My bad.

Tried out list today against a very tough necron flyer list controlled by an elite level opponent . I eked out a win with some luck but I am very happy with this first pass . I'll continue to tweak it .

I edited first post with current tweaks, list is still doing very well in tournament style play. is anyone else running something similar?
