So in the new FAQ and the codex it says any units within 6" gain the 5+ cover save.

So as long as one model in a unit is within 6" it gets the cover save?

It wouldn't make sense because a field is only so big and that 1 guy in it gives the entire unit a 5+ is sorta weird just wanted to clarify it.

The rule says as long as a unit is within 6" it get the cover save. As long as 1 model or even one part of a unit (thinking vehicles here) the UNIT is within 6" so cover save it up.

Yes. Now instead of blobs of infantry clustered around the mek, they can be conga lines w blobs on one end.
