I was thinking they needed something. I was leaning towards flames but faces could work too.

So forgive me for my ignorance but is this a stock kit? This is Kharn post heresy, yeah? It's just that I am at the start of a commission to do Kharn pre heresy and I have seen a lot of pre heresy conversions using, effectively, this same model (or at least using the helmet). It always strikes me as odd that they would use a post heresy Kharn kit to create a pre heresy Kharn. Surely a space marine of some sort would be better. Unless of course this isn't a stock kit. Good job by the way on this guy.

Yup this is post-heresy and stock GW as the link shows.

One of the more popular pre-heresy pics of Kharn portrays his armour as very similar to the current iteration so I can understand why people would use the current model and maybe swap out the right arm or something.
