Seeing any codex can ally with any codex, is it possible to ally an eldar with another eldar?

What I am think of is a predominatly Saim-Hann force with a small contingent from another craftworld.
It would offer the advantage of getting the extra FOC charts and a 3rd Farseer.

No possible to Ally with the same codex.

You can still do it, you just have to be playing 2000+ points, and uses the normal FOC.

Keep in mind if you are dealing with Forge World armies (such as Corsair Eldar) they count as different "Codexes". So you can have Elysian Drop Troops allied with Imperial Guard and so on. That may allow you the work around you were looking for.

But then you have to deal with people that don't realize the things that terrify them about FW are almost always illegal to use in normal W40K games per the FW rules... But that's for another thread!
