Hello folks, me and my mates have been looking into starting a new table top game and for years we've pretty muched loved the whole x4 genre but havent really had a lot to show for it,

until we found firestorm Armarda! dun dun dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

anyway, in all seriousnes we bought the rule book before getting any models, because fair enough we would have some pretty ships to look at but we wouldnt be able to play with them if we didnt understand the rules right? well this is why im making this, after experiance with some of the more annoying and loopy 40k rules i've understood the ones in FSA rule book fairly easily, but id just like to see if i have this correct,

Edit: actually scrap that, the answer for this was on page 52! just the next question now!

and im not sure if this is correct, but did i read it correctly where you can fire multipul weapon systems at different targets?

is that right?

Welcome to the Spartan fold . I think you will enjoy Firestorm Armada, it is a lot of fun and the models have only been getting better.

As for your question, that is correct. As is common with most naval games, any weapon system on a ship with a valid target can be fired, at different targets if desired. Essentially, it is like "Power of the Machine Spirit," except it applies to all weapons not just one . Also possible is splitting fire; if you have one weapon that gives you 6 attack dice, you could elect to shoot 3 dice at one target and 3 dice at another.

ahhhhhh that explains a lot actually and thank you! i had an intresting conversation the other day to one of my friends about how much simpler the hitting actually is over the strength vs toughness/av were use to x.x it ended in my poor gaurdsmen torn to shreds my orks, but i eventually sorted my logic out and explained so hes also on board ;D (pun intended)
