OK, just thought I'd say that this is NOT a take all comers list in any way. I would not take this to a tournament. That said, it seems fun, and I'd like to test it out a couple of games:

Reclusiarch, meltabombs 135

Furioso dreadnought, Blood fists 125
Furioso dreadnought, Blood fists 125
Furioso dreadnought, Blood fists 125

(25) Death company 500
Death company dreadnought, Blood talons 125
Death company dreadnought, Blood talons 125
Death company dreadnought, Blood talons 125
Death company dreadnought, Blood talons 125
Death company dreadnought, Blood talons 125

Company command squad, OOTF 80

Platoon command squad 30
Infantry squad 50
Infantry squad 50

= 1845

Alright, so you give cover to your Dreads with the DC, and charge forward and smash face. Simple

The Blood fists are on the Furiosos as if your opponent has a Deathstar with multiple wound models (Nobz, Paladins) you need to be able to instagib them, so the fists are on the more survivable Dreads so they (hopefully) don't get shot to death on the way in.

The IG are there to score, nothing more. The OOTF is to keep Flyers out for as long as possible, as you have no way to deal with them.

Enjoy

why a reclusiarch?

a Librarian (as ... strange as this may sound) run behind a couple of dreads using his psychic power shield of sanguinas to give some 5+ cover saves also i dont understand the blood fists on the furioso dreads... may as well talon them up and use your death company dreads as they get +2 str on the charge to smash out anything needing insta vaped... or just use the meltas to open fire into them... str 8 ap 2 will vaporize most anything. or drop the IG dont really know why they are in there since your not going to use them for capping lol.... and put magna grapples on the dreads... another melta variant for them for doom smashing.

the librarian gives cover to the dreads the dreads give cover to the librarian win/win

Automatically Appended Next Post:
also wont need melta bombs as the librarian can also take a force axe with sword of sanguinas to up his str to 10 ap2. thats a fair anti vehicle hit.

Anything will die if you can stab it enough.

Pacific NW

Needs more Dreads. Specifically, Heavy Support shooty dreads.

Also, completely useless and certain lists would have a field day against it (Dark Eldar w/ Haywire Grenades would strike before your Dreadnought and likely wreck it before it can attack, Imperial Guard leaf blowers can cause enough glances to wreck it before the Dreads get in range, etc).

But if you love Dreadnoughts and don't mind not scoring or contesting objectives...

Another fun list...bumping to 2k pts

Reclusiarch x2

3x Furioso - 3x w/ Talons 1x w/ Magna-Grapple

30x DC - 14 w/ Boltgun, 2x w/ PF, 14x Normal

5x DC Dread - 2x w/ Pods

Dont know if you can but Combat Squad the DC putting 7 norm, 7 boltgun, 1 PF and a reclusiarch w/ each unit. Could also put the drop pods with the Furioso if you choose.

42 models 2x 15m DC units both with a Reclusiarch and 2 Dreads in their face to give the DC some time to get around. Along with 6 more dreads charging across the field

The Reclusiarch is there to make the DC a lot more scary on the charge. You don't need Shield from a Lib because you can easily hide 25% of your Dreads behind your DC, and if you do have to expose them for a turn just use your smoke launchers.

The IG are there to score, you know. Sure, they will die to a stiff breeze. Place objectives as near to the table edges as you can and leave your IG in reserve. Contest his objectives, hold a couple of yours.

The thing is that this list could be made competitive but instead you have just written down how to get the most dreads in.

You will beat some armies. People will enjoy it, so why not.
