Ok.. A little insight to what I am working with here. I am still reading the rules and have no option for play test being I am deployed ATM. Here is my first list idea and would like to know how people feel. Let me know if you think I am insane and never make another list or its decent with a few changes.... here it goes.

Been up for a day and no replies... so that means its that bad OR it was so good that it just blew peoples minds lol

What you have right now is 2x 10 squads with rhinos = 220pt each.

I'd swap that to 5x ASM without jp and put them in a razorback with LAS/PLA, squad with a single melta and MAYBE some m.bombs for 165p

DC with Jp is waaaaay too expensive to be worth it, drop the 4 DC & astaroth and.. wtf.. is the 8 other DC walking? Put them in a LR or dp. (Might even put them in a stormraven but expect a gakload of fire turned against it then)


Also.. put corbulo in there somewhere, don't care where or what, but get him in your list, he's prolly the most OP char we got atm

You haven't been very point efficient. Some of the units are definitely ok.
The list is different but never underestimate tactical squads in fast rhinos, they are expensive but they can do better than people give credit to them.

I would like some priests as FNP is awesome.

I think you can some real fun with this list.

4 Scoring units
5 Flyers
1 Deathstar unit. (This is the only thing I dont really like about the list. If this gets shut down, I have to rely on the speeders and stormravens to be able to clean up.

I have noticed a lot more foot slogging lists as opposed to the old 5th strategy of Mech.

I feel that is light on scoring units. I know FNP scoring units do last longer.
I would probably change the speeders to either double MM or double HF. MM+HF is popular but to my mind it loses focus away from a Vulkan list.

I really do like the list, though as a disclaimer this isn't my style.
