Hey guys;

Just incase you didn't catch my introduction post on the introduction post allow me to introduce myself. My name's Jamie, I'm a Blue Table Painting enthusiast and I have been lucky enough to be given permission from the BTP team to share their work with DakkaDakka. This log will include both old and new projects: showcasing the work done and in progress by the BTP team. Blue Table Painting are a professional commission painting and assembly company: with literally thousands of completed commissions with more on the way you can be sure there will be something for everyone! Feel free to ask questions, share opinions and thoughts, and speak about these wargames we all love!

We also hope this log will show and give clear indication to the work done at BTP, and several posts will highlight how we go about the commission process: what we do, how we do it, different levels of painting, etc, etc.

So what do the BTP team paint and assemble?
Well.... Everything!
To prove this I believe it would be prudent to start the log with completed projects showing some of the work done by the BTP team.

Malifaux

Created by Wyrd Miniatues, Malifaux is a 28mm skirmish game that fuses Steam Punk, the Wild West, and Horror to create a fast paced gaming experience with whole different levels of tactics and synergy waiting to be discovered. Cheat fate or die!







Infinity

Created by the guys at Corvus Belli Infinity merges fast paced sci fi skirmish action, with anime influenced aesthetics. Using a D20 rule system on terrain heavy boards it's important to remember it's always your turn!





Flames of War

Flames of War is a 15mm historical World War 2 game, the guys at Battlefront have merged historical accuracy with fun in this game of epic proportions. Blue Table Painting does not shy away from painting historical based minis.






Warmachine and Hordes

Created by Privateer Press, Warmachine and Hordes are fast paced large skirmish games. Although two separate systems they can be played together. Play like you have a pair!


(This is an old Rackham mini Shawn uses to proxy as Circle Orboros, these models can be hard to get hold of but if we can help we will! + I couldn't resist showing you guys the paint job on this guy!)

BTP strive to be able to paint anything, from role playing games such as Pathfinder and Dungeons and Dragons, to other game systems and board games such as Super Dungeon Explore.

Hey Hey Blue Table Fans! (I've always wanted to do that.)

I'm told the team have been super busy lately due to a number of promotions: this means over the next few days I'll have alot of eye candy to show you! BTP have been working on a number of RPG figures; I thought it would be great if you guys told us what RPG games you play? And also what would you use these character's as? Do you have a favourite role to play within your party of adventurers?






BTP is more than "just" a painting service as well; there is a team of dedicated assemblers and converters. They definitely deserve some recognition on this log: I hope you will all agree once you see this Skaven warlord conversion:





I'm sure I'll be back later with some more images of recent work; perhaps a converted Imperial Guard command squad or a Space Hulk set?

Last update for tonight

If you've been down the Blue Table Painting studio lately you might have caught glimpses of movement in the shadows, or felt warm alien breath on the back of your neck. Luckily the BTP team have been painting up a Terminator strike force to fight off the recent infestation of Genestealers.

It's also worth to note that BTP love experimenting with unusual colour schemes, using both artistic license and requests. I think you'll all agree when I say the Space Hulk set was a great box, with some great sculpts. I'm interested in hearing how you think it plays out as well- I still haven't got round to having a go myself.

Now I can follow you on Dakka, Facebook, and youtube! Amazing work as usual!

Nice models guys, the Space Hulk miniatures look especially awesome. May I ask how you painted the blue armour on the Space Marine miniatures. Might borrow it for a Crimson Fist army.

Would it be possible to see different pictures of the quality levels?

Kanekaneo, unfortunately I am based in the uk while the studio is in America: Utah to be specific so I cannot ask the specific painter. I'll be sure to ask in my next email to the team but as they paint so many commissions..... I can say that the studio uses almost exclusively Vallejo paints which might help you I will definitely be passing on your praise though! Off topic: Crimson Fists are awesome!

Master Sheriff, this was one of the first things I asked the team for when I started this blog (great minds think alike!) The lead studio artist is working on these and I'm hoping to have the images in a week or so!

What would you guys like to see next? Fantasy, 40k, Warmahordes? Something else?
I have some images of some awesome Vampire Counts I want to share with you at some point too

I only have a couple of pics atm I'm afraid; I've sent the studio a request for some more but it depends if they have been sent off yet.

However I do have these, and notice the image of magnetized weapons: a great service/customization that help's us gamers get the most out of our models and money!

Just a little fire themed update!

Been a while since I posted, sorry guys! This is just a quick one to let you know we're still here.

I'm currently waiting on some images from the studio of the different levels available here at BTP, and the team are very excited about....... Dark Vengeance! So expect some images of that in a couple of weeks ( I'm off on Holiday Saturday )

In other non-GW news... I will be putting up a big update of the Warmahordes coming out the studio atm on Friday! (Image Shack is playing up for me atm.)

I'd also love to know if there's anything you want to ask the studio about? And also what you guys would like to see on here..... Please comment and be nice

Been a while sine I updated this, I've been on holiday and stuff Had some great pictures to share with you guys waiting for me when I got back though..
Freeblades is a relatively new and fastly growing Fantasy skirmish game, you guys should go check it out. BTP are proud to have painted alot of their figures for them. Below is a level 7, our highest level of commission, Freeblades magician. Enjoy! Check the blending and freehand!
