They just couldn't seem to keep with the pace, but games by Psygnosis will always have a place in my heart. They were true pioneers in the early games industry and they produced some of the best titles around on console and computer.

Many a happy hour I would spend trying to save Lemmings from certain death, destroy hordes of enemy forces in my Walker or just enjoying the amazing music in Agony.

Another one of the greats from my past to go that will be missed along with the likes of Rainbow Arts and Bullfrog.

Do you have any fond memories of the games produced by these guys?

No pity, no remorse, no shoes

Heh, I didn't even know there were any studios from the good old days left.

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

The UK industry is really up against the wall at the mo, its just a sad state of how things have been going for a while.

The tax relief being brought in last moment by labour getting canned by the tories after they took over didn't help. I see they have since seen sense and are bringing back some kind of incentive for the UK industry, but it could be a case of too little too late.

Thats directed at both this and the previous government mind, as the industry has been struggling against other countries gaming incentives for a long while.

Sad to see this studio go, the Wipeout series are my favourite racing games of all time from artistic and musical perspectives.

I hadn't seen this trailer before, but it's a fairly good showing of the evolution of Wipeout and hints at Rollcage too (I believe the later is in the Wipeout universe)
