Traded for some orks recently, and looking into putting a list together. Here is my first shot at a dakka heavy list. The shootas (and Mek) ride in the wagons, Lootas backfield.

Not an ork player myself, but what I can tell you is that a 10 man unit of Gretchin is always needed for objective camping. Feels stupid to have 20 orks camping on a backfield objective....

Lootas will need cover. So bring an ADL, because you can.

I do like grots at the back, not just for scoring: they can block assaults on your big guns and lootas. Also they can fire a quadgun if you choose to bring one.

Battlewagons are quite easy to find a cover save so the kff is not so important, whereas Warbosses are nasty in cc.

Nob with bosspole at least is needed to keep your troops on the battlefield. Giving him a klaw as well, means you become a nice threat if any tanks or MEQ are walking by.
