I've been trying to remake my Space Marines list trying to fit it into 6th Ed.

What do you think? I included the Sternguard because I like their models (I have a converted Deathwatch squad) but I could drop those to get something else. I was thinking a Vindicator or an Aegis Defence Line for more Anti-flyer.

Most of the list is pretty straightforward - the Drop Pods land close to the enemy, with Bikes and other things rushing the enemy side.

I like it. Combat tactics will be really good for this army.

Thanks - that's what I'm thinking too. I'm worried that the list may struggle against Flyers, though.

If someone is going to spam flyers you are going to have problems anyway. You have your own flyer, and should be able to put up enough massed ground fire to try to take one down with the rest of your army

If your captain is going to spend most of his time shooting, you might want to get him hellfire rounds for his bike.

I like your list, looks fun.

I am more than willing to send a bike captain into cc. In fact relic blade or LC with stormshield maybe even a meltabomb, fist+LC would be cool.
Say relic blade+meltabombs.
Hell rounds are cool.

You want your stern guard to land and make a mess of the enemy.
This means combat squadding.
Try something like 8 combimeltas and 2 heavy flamers, comb at squaded in either way.

I would drop the dozer blade on the pred it shouldn't be driving around.

The other units are ok, (I thought the storm couldn't have heavy bolter?)

The list doesn't seem to work together. Some back, some forward, some reserve, some podded.

The basic weapon on the Storm is a Heavy Bolter, altough I always upgraded it to a Multi Melta.

I am thinking of cutting the points somewhere to get some combi melta on the Sternguard.

I am indeed planning to run around with the Captain, only going into CC when necessary, along with the rest of the bikes. They could pack a good punch when charging.

@Nevelon You're right. If they spam flyers I'm dead anyway.

If they spam flyers you drop pod first turn and turn the rest of their army to mush. Or at least try to.
Not sure how many flyers make spam, but certainly there will not be so much of the army on the board first turn.
Later turns you can then concentrate on fly swatting as best you can. You'll be all right.

Well, one of the top players in the local tournament (he won) brought 9 necron flyers. On the 1st turn he only had 2x5 Necron Warriors on the table.

If your army does not kill that many necrons I would be very surprised. I know the opponent may put more on the table against drop pods, but still that means you are killing his helpless troops.

Indeed, that particular enemy list shouldn't really be a problem
