Hello Dakka,
I'm wondering what the best method is to safely package my Space Marines for shipping. Unfortunately I don't have any battle foam or whatever it's called, and I'm wondering if any of you know of a good way to safely package miniatures without it.
Thanks!

I use toilet paper for very delicate models, and you can get away with paper towel sometimes, too. Or Really secure- toilet paper and then paper towels.
The advantage of these is that you can roll the models up in them. Particularly with paper towels, you can roll up several models in a line. It's really great, I've never had a problem when doing so

I cut small strips of bubble wrap and wrap each figure. On top of that you should put a couple layers of wrap on all sides of the box you are shipping in. If there is a lot of space to fill in the box, some crumpled up pieces of newspaper to fill in the gaps works wonders.

Foam mailer boxes are what you want. They're pretty inexpensive, come in loads of sizes and they'll package your minis between two layers of egg-crate foam.

I have never seen that stateside, I wonder how many limbs I would have to sacrifice to the postal gods to get some of these.
