Sorry, Dakka is normally warmer that this.
I looked it through and it's a pretty nice scratch build tutorial. Simple to understand and easy to follow with good results.
Post WIP pics in painting and modelling, and you can't go wrong. And some people are lazy, and can't be fethed to click a link, so I apologize for them.

@ghosty no people aren't lazy they just prefer to see pics as a kind of assurance that you are indeed clicking to a website that is hobby related and not one that is advertising/virus/porn spam.

First couple of tips: First edit your title to: Iron Kingdoms' Style House tutorial [VIDEO][LINK]. This way people will know what they will expect before they click. Second put a pic of the finished mini with the link. The one that is shown at the end of the video with the other minis looks great. Third this should go into Painting&Modelling tutorials. You can ask any mod to move it for you. C&C I think the finished mini looks great and simple to make. I especially like the wall texture with the second floor. My only only complaint is the roof as it look a bit boring. Maybe you could add something like this EDIT:dem oomis messin wiv me spellin

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.
If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in. |

Doesn't matter. This is painting and modeling, so post things you painted and modeled! People post terrain all the time.

I'm not opposed to clicking on a few links every now and then,
I watched it and its a good video.
My only suggestion would be to add some type of texturing to the roof. Something like thatch or tiles, etc but that's just my personal preference.

I normally do that, but the terrain article I read said that sheet metal roofs are common in the Iron Kingdoms. The roof would have had rivets galore, but I don't yet have a good method for making rivets.

But you could get one of these that would make great rivets also..
