Well I don't have any, but I have ideas...

White Lions; A bunch of them taming, well, a lion. Think a large large base, best suited for a horde. They would be a few to each side, ropes thrown over it. Or a few of them swarming over a spawn axes in hand (a spawn seems like it'd be pretty easy to make. Random arms/legs/blades/teeth/mouths and a lot of putty. And patience)

Sword Masters; If you have any models which aren't high elf (orc, dark elf, whatever), and you enjoy converting, here is a good one. Have your front rank of swordmasters in poses full of motion. Swaying out the way, blocking, what have you. The second rank of your entire unit would be orcs/dark elf soldiers/whatever who missed their initial targets, stumbling and confused, and are about to be set on by the next rank. One rank of random men is all you need (drawn from old figures you don't use and can't be bothered to sell, from a mate's cast offs, anywhere).

Silverhelms/Dragon Princes; Dead cavalryman/Horse being leapt by one behind. If you stretch the horse out you can probably cover 2x2 cavalry bases (the lying down one is on the front, the leaping one is on the one behind).

Spearmen/Archers; Similar to the above, they could be taking cover behind a dead horse, using it as an impromptu barricade to fend off the enemy, etc. Should take up some space.

Of those, silverhelms are probably easiest.

I know they aren't examples, just ideas, but I thought of them when I saw the thread title. I collect dwarfs and have a very confused ogre who thinks he is a dwarf as well as a really jack dwarf who is still passed out in his farter being dragged into battle by a friend, tankard clutched in his hand for unit fillers, so imagination is really all you need.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

Why would you need them? They are a very low model count army.

Damn I cant wait to the GW legal team codex comes out now there is a dex that will conquer all.

You forget that all the good HE models cost an arm and a leg. A "full" unit of Phoenix Guard is over $120. So if you could run 20 men and fill the 10 man difference for anything less than $40 you are in the black.

Here are a few ideas for HE fillers:

Oh $120 how I weep for you.... 1/3 of a unit as fillers is a bit cheeky tho.

Indeed, most unit fillers take up only 5 or 6 slots.

Oddly enough, the new plastics are only $10 cheaper than the old metal ones for a unit of 30.

If you can model a Phoenix Guard in full swing, you can make a unit filler of him taking an armored knight right off his horse...

Ive always wanted to make some comical ones poking fun at my army of choice. My only idea was to model an elf brushing his hair in front of a full length mirror (I even have most of the bits sans a 28mm hairbrush and mirror)

Perhaps a dollhouse site would have those in the proper scale...
