As I have scratch built a Farseer and ordered some Rangers on Ebay, I was wondering what colour scheme to use for them.

I intend to use my Eldar as Allies for my Dark Eldar. My Dark Eldar Kabal is called The Seekers of Isha, and its fluff is that they're looking for a way to free Isha from Nurgle - the Kabal believes in the superiority of the Eldar race and that the rebirth of the Eldar race is at hand.

My Kabal is painted much akin to the Kabal of the Black Heart:

And I was thinking of using some bright colours for the Cratworld Kin, colours that would contrast with the dark of the Dark Eldar.

That said, I also wanted to have an interesting storyline/fluff for the Craftworld. So far, I found some Craftworlds that I liked:

- the unnamed Craftworld that claims Isha is still alive from Codex: Deamons
- Craftworld Altansar, literally ripped from the warp by a Phoenix Lord. Boring colour scheme, purple, black.
- Malantai and that other Craftworld that was destroyed by Tyranids - I like heroic stories. No Colour scheme, though.
- Biel-Tan who believe that the Eldar can be reborn
- Dorhai seems like an interesting Craftworld, as they believe all other Craftworlds are inferiora nd corrupted by CHaos. Alas, no colour scheme
- Kher-Ys seems like an interesting place - ravaged by daemons who managed to bewitch an autarch's daughter. No colour scheme.

So, what I'm asking is this:

Are there any Craftworlds (bar the most estabilished ones, like Alaitoc, Saim-Hann etc.) that have an interesting story behind them and an interesting colour scheme to contrast the dark scheme of my Kabal?

The colour scheme of Isyabelle (sp) is rather bright, and I like it. But there is also the alternative; make your own! Means they can do what they want, and what you want without any neckbears pulling the 'your lore make no sense, craftworld yadaya wouldn't never go with dark eldar!' etc

My craftworld, for example, is led by a farseer who was personally saved and subsequently trained by Eldrad Ulthuan, and leads his craftworld to try and find a way to rescue his fallen mentor and saviour. They are known to work with a cabal of Dark Eldar (which I have yet to invent), and some of the cabal and craftoworld have been known to switch sides, so to speak. (DE follow path of the warrior, and some who seek more than the path of the outcast go to live in Commoragh, although they are few and far between)

^ I think he means Iybraesil. ^

Getting the spelling right helps everyone (especially since you can just copy it letter by letter from the codex.)

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

@Iybraesil - I got an army of blue marines, so blue is not a colour I'd enjoy painting.

I was thinking about trying to come up with a completely new Craftworld, and I guess I'll have to do that if I don't find anything interesting in the existing lore.

The story of Altansar seems the most interesting, I might go in that direction...

If you can cut the yellow (yellow is not the easiest to paint), Iyanden is pretty interesting.

Alaitoc gets a sort of mottle effect, though you can probably export it to others.

Light colours will be something new to me, usually my white or yellow come out pretty dirty, and I'd like to work on improving that.
