First off , apologies if this has come up before , couldn't find anything so feel free to direct me towards the right thread .

The new GW paints look like a complete painting system , buy colours X , Y and Z , use in that order and have a tabletop or better mini at the end of it . Sadly , the only place that stocks them is 500km away , (and will be heading there this weekend) so don't know the precise hue of the colours (the WD and GW page don't look very accurate , for lack of a better word) . So will ask the wise and helpfull members of Dakka for guidance .

Long story short . What colours should I get ( avoiding mixing if at all possible , would like to do it straight out the pot ) to highlight and extreme highlight the following base colours . Feel free to comment on whether the new colours are an exact match for the new ones if you want where relevant .

- Graveyard Earth (Steel Legion Brown?)
- Scorched Brown (Rhinox Hide?)
- Gretchin Green (Deathworls Forest?)
- Knarloc Green (Loren Forest?)
- Zamesi Desert (Bubonic Brown?)

Also , is the new Agrax Earthshade just as awesome as the old Devlan Mud ?

Many thanks .

I can say that Steel Legion Drab is the replacement for Graveyard Earth, but perhaps is a tad darker.

Agrax Earthshade is quite awesome, I would say Devlan Mud had a stronger pigmentation, but I used to add a drop of water to Devlan Mud anyway, I prefer the new one because adding water technically does reduce paint film tension and increases dry times etc. (I prefer all the new shade's to the old washes to be honest, they have better flow characteristics)

The other colours you asked about I don't have the new versions of so couldn't say.

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!
