Watching a game between two friends right now. Where in the book does it say you auto-lose if there's nothing on the board? I searched online and in the book.

Got a question, I put a chooser of the slain on the board and his rune priest is in reserves. Until the rune priest comes on the board I have a model on the board right?
Does this break the auto-win thing for my opponent?
