Jarael was a main character from the Knights of the Old Republic comic series by Black Horse. Like Nadia she was completely albino with white hair and had blue facial tatoos; despite ostensibly being different species. Jarael isn't a jedi or force user like Nadia but use a polearm type weapon with a blue energy beam that stuns people; Nadia uses a blue double bladed lightsaber. I really like that they referenced such an awesome comic series (I think I read that it was there third highest selling series or something like that). Jarael was also the female love interest of the Jedi character in the series and Nadia fills the same role in the Jedi Consular story. Plus even their names sound slightly similar.

ps. I read the mini-series with Zayne last year. But I really hope they go back to it at some point. Was a really good comic series and I didn't even have to pay for it because my mate lent me all of them.
