Greetings to all forum members,

although I am a member of your forum haven't participated in it yet. The reason for this post is a prize game about which you can read more in the text below. But first, a short introduction.
A few months ago I started a web page for the game Flames of War, here is the link to it: http://tomzg.webplus.net/index.html
So far a few tutorials of colouring have been published, as well as several photo galleries, three battle reports and so on. The web page is in Croatian for now (with some texts in Serbian and Slovenian) because there are not enough visits yet for it to be translated in English or some other language. However, Google translator will help you understand everything you are interested in without any difficulties.
If you wish to post some of your tutorials, photos of the models or battle reports, fell free to send it to my mail. They will be posted in the original language with the translation in Croatian next to it. Using your work you can help to keep the web page alive, and with the increased number of visitors, prize game budget will also rise, because there will be more and more sponsors.

Please send all your suggestions, comments and critics to this mail: tomislav.borosa@inet.hr.

It is the time for one more prize game. I hope you are ready for colouring.
After some consultations I decided that the theme of this prize game is colouring of infantry platoon. You need to send at least one photo of the whole platoon (the more, the merrier) and five photos of one infantry base (panel). It has to be photographed from all sides (left, right, front, back, above). Colouring of the soldiers and basing will be judged and evaluated as well as effect and impression of the whole platoon. It is not important from which period of the war are soldiers, it needs to be the WWII and 1/100 measurement. The producer is irrelevant. To prove it was your work, please put a piece of paper with your name and a coin in your currency next to the base in one photo. With the photos, you need to write which unit it is, and if you want, you can describe which colours you used, what you did, how you based and so on. This description may be crucial when choosing the winner.
Please send your photos and personal information (name, surname, address) to this mail: tomislav.borosa@inet.hr.
The final deadline for sending is 15 September after which there will be a two-week period for voting. Everybody who didn’t participate in this game can vote, and I will not vote.
The store Carta Magica (http://cartamagica.hr/) is still our sponsor, but this time with 30 Euros which will be spent in the store. If you are not from Zagreb, choose your prize and it will be delivered to you in a few days. I am looking for some more sponsors so if somebody accepts, the prize could be even bigger.

All the pictures will be shown in the gallery after the winner is chosen. As far as I am concerned, you can participate with more than one infantry platoon.

All those who for any reason didn’t participate in our last prize game (vacations, laziness, camera not good enough, short deadline…), please send your work because the deadline is three weeks.
This will be posted on several forums including Battlefront in the next few days. I hope there will be a lot of participants. For any further questions, feel free to contact me.

Out of curiosity, what happens if we're on a totally different continent, like say Canada?

Just my 2 cents

There is no difference if you're going to participate in the contest and win, I send you the prize.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I apologize for my first post. I had no bad intentions, but some suspect it immediately mention the prize draw, giving links, e-mail address ...

I'm just an organizer contests on its website, and do not have any of that material and financial benefits. I have a sponsor for the contest, and the prize ship at his own expense. The website is active for only 2 months.

If administrators think that I broke some rules, let free wipe my post. If any of you sign up for the contest and send photos, you'll see that it's only the prize game and nothing else.

I once again apologize to everyone for the post, and for my bad English.

tomislav

For a couple of days prize game ends. Does anyone still want to participate? You just have to send a couple of photos of their infantry.

thanks

No more applications for this Prize game!

Now there remains only the vote. You have 13 contestants. For Reuben (Heresy) you can not vote, he just wanted to show how models can look. Yes more complicated, each voter can give three points of their favorites (1, 2, and 3 points). I believe that the way we'll do this contest a little more interesting.

Will again draw the luckiest voter, and the prize will be a gift certificate from one store in Croatia (I'm not allowed to publish the name of stores here, so I'll send the winner) valued at 10 euros.

Everyone can vote who did not participate in the contest. It should be in the mail: tomislav.borosa@inet.hr send the list of candidates to vote for and how much you give them points and to write with your details (full name, complete address).

Voting runs until 30.09., And I will announce the winner's name the day after that, 01.10. Happiest voters will pull R. (co-financed by the stores that contest) and that is when I get the prize for the contest winner.

thanks (sorry for my bad english)

ENG - Anyone who votes, I will send a pocket calendar for 2013. year. (when they are finished, probably in early November). Is it enough to motivate?
You need to vote for the best candidates by giving them a 3, 2 and 1 point and send it to my mail: tomislav.borosa@inet.hr

thanks
