I'm planning on starting a Craftworld Eldar army this fall and I've bought a few things, but not all. This is the list I'm looking at purchasing. All c&c is welcome.
Autarch - Shuriken Pistol, Warp Jump Generator, Power Sword, Reaper Launcher, Plasma & Haywire, Forceshield
Eldrad Ulthran
6 Fire Dragons - Exarch w/ Firepike and Crack Shot
Wave Serpent w/ Catapults and TL Starcannon

The autarch all alone is a big mistake. If you want the warp jump, he needs some spiders to roll with. Best to give him a fusion gun as a shooting weapon.
Autarchs in sixth are somewhat meh, but they can be useful. Probably better off with a second farseer or other units.
The foot avengers should go in a serpent.
The fragon serpent should get scatter lasers instead of starcannons. If you can get points, put shuriken cannons on the chins of your serpents.
Drop the spirit stones off the vyper. 2 glances and it dies.
I would stick with all scatter lasers on the walkers, unless TEQ is all over your meta.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Yriel is much better than any beefed up Autarch on foot. With Eldrad, he forms a decent cc combo, eventually accompanied with a DA unit beefed up for cc.
A single FD unit is generally not enough, you need two working in concert if necessary.

Doesn't look bad at all, and I agree with all of what's been said, but you may want to have a barebones Vyper with just an EML. I find that being able to get round to the side/rear armour can be a very useful. I would say no to a Brightlance though, because if you take that, then there is generally no need to go round to the back door. The only good thing about a BL is the AP2 that gives a bonus on the damage table.
Welcome playing Eldar btw, may all you dice be sixes (except leadership and psychic tests of course)

First and foremost, I would cut your autarch. Right now, with the changes to reserves, there's no point for him. and Yireal doesn't even make that good with his crazy LOLWTF pie plate. and as rules go, both him and eldrad, if your going RAI, have basic ap3 power weapons.
Eldrad's good, very good actually, but you wanna keep him where he can do the most good. Maybe riding around with the DA's? because double guide and doom on two sets of blade-storms could mean alot of dead whatever your pointing at. But he needs to be in the center of things, so his powers can be best used.
In cutting the autach, how about running a second stripped down seer? another guy, running stones, guide, and doom, and stick him back with the walkers (if your Not out-flanking with them) or up in the ships with the Dragons (because we can save you about 32 points by bringing those squads down to 4 and an exarch, though to me, the exarch is a little un-necessary)
You have 3 wave serpents here. Run two with scatter lasers and cannons, and run one with EMLs and cannons. that way you have a mix of anti-horde, and anti tank, and you have options. I love having options. And stick tank to tank, horde to horde, so scatters with the DAs, and EMLs with the FDs. that way, when they do thier job, the do it well.
Run vypers in squads if you can, and because they are crewed by guardians (i.e. bs3), I like multi-shot guns. So, scatters and cannons if you can, just scatter lasers if you cant. 2-3, but keep in mind, its a harrying unit, designed to make an opponent chase it or shoot at it, there by leaving your DA and FD serpents to NOT be shot at, and do thier job.
Cut the star-cannons on the walkers. All shur-cannons, and use them to out-flank. The bullets will be coming from all sides, and it will make your opponent split thier fire. if they cant focus, they can't kill anything. Target priority at it's best.
So, for me, the look is like this,

Wave Serpent w/ Catapults and TL EML
10 Dire Avengers - Exarch w/ twin Catapults and Bladestorm (Eldrad here)
Wave Serpent w/ Catapults and TL Scatter

2x Vyper w/ 2 scatter laser and cata.
2x walkers w/ shur-cannons

and that's 1494 in total.

Moreover, if you run Eldrad, a 2nd Farseer will not be needed.

This is my personal experience, but unless your planning on keeping things together, I continually prefer 2 seers over eldrad, or if your going for coverage, a cheap seer and eldrad. Primary reason is this: it can provide support when eldrad's out of range, and it allows you to create multiple guided lanes of fire. And, with a list like this, you can throw eldrad with the avengers, keep the vypers near by, and guide and doom a whole set of mobile guns, while using the other seer to either baby-sit the war walkers, or preferably , sit him back with in the FDs transport, and apply guide as needed.
So, I can see applications for multiple hqs, and 1500 is where I start entertaining those ideas. BUT, if you cut him, for his points, should should be able to finish filling out the vyper and warwalker squad. Because hey, more guns are awesome.

I think Wuestenfux may have meant to suggest this list at 1500pts. Though I am not sure I would run both named characters at this points level. I see some major issues against flyers and heavy armor that might be hiding in a corner.

With 6th Edition, I have changed my views on vehicles a little and holofields are not what they were. I personally like Seer Councils with Farseer and Autach on Jet bike. Give the Autarch a power weapon, you may not even need the Fusion gun since he has a haywire grenade. With T4 they are more survivable, Fortune with invuln hard to beat. I have started running a different list that works well for me in local games and tournies
I run Eldrad with Aeigis defense lines with Icarus Las Cannon with guardians with Warlock with Enhance and an EML - Warlock can fire the EML, Icarus can be fired by Eldrad, Try charging a squad of 20 guided gurdians with Eldrad and a Warlock with Enhance
I try to run 3 squads of War Walkers 2 squads with Scatter lasers, 1 with EMLS if I have the points, I try to keep 2 near Eldrad to guide them, 1 to outflank. I use my seer council with Farseer or if double force org autarch too and fortune them and turbo boost at the enemy. Once the War Walkers outflank they can help the council, I then use GJBK squadrons to cap objectives...
I don't tend to use any vehicles and seem to be doing fairly well with them... I have run pathfinders in the past too which are nice to try to snipe the special weapons guys...
