Have been trying to write up a BAs list that has efficiency, shoots a lot and assault very little. I really like Baals in 40k6e, as TL Assault cannons are sooo good now; for 115 pts you get a TL Assault cannon and Scout movement (with an outflank option) all on an FAV13 fast vehicle. Pretty good IMO.

Techmarine will like ride in Raven keeping it afloat, while bolstering defenses for my CC scouts. Assault squads will hide behind the Baals ready to pop any immediate threats, while the libby and dev squad hang back to man the quad gun. Of course tactics will adapt to the armies I face, but when all is said and done I have a little of everything for everyone.

Battle Barge Impossible Fortress

Looks good, I like the Plasma on the assault squad but can you take 2x Plasmagun? I think that if you can in 6th, you should.

Thanks. The plasma on the assault squad is controversial since they cannot assault after using them, but I don't want them to assault anyway so it works out. As for the PP gunslinger, I got the idea from Julnlecs list. At 12", you can pump out 4 S7 AP2 shots.

You can only take 2 PG if the squad numbers 10 in size. So if I wanted to, I could combat squad them leaving a grot squad to hold objectives. Not a bad idea maybe, I'll tool around with it, thanks!
