What is the AP value of Wraiths using Whip Coils? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

There is no AP. However, on any To Wound roll of 6, they are AP2 due to Rending.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

But not against vehicles. They still rend, but it's not counted as AP2.

Their weapon profile is Str: User AP: - by default since it isn't otherwise listed.
Their close combat attacks do have rending though, with all that entails.

Whip Coils aren't an attack. If you are BTB with a Wraith that has Whip Coils, you are set to Initiative 1. No save against that at all (since it's not a wound).
Their attacks are separate from that.

Everyone is right. Wraiths with Whip Coils have no AP but all attacks in close combat are rending.
