No no no no no.
You got it all wrong! Seriously what kind of an idiot gets an Asus P8Z77-V LX? Even my grandma knows that P8Z78 is 10 times better for less money. Dude you just won idiot of the year award, congrats.

Honestly everything looks fine.
The psu could a little bit better if you ever want to go crossfire but as far as I know 7850 isn't that power hungry and 600w might work just fine (it propably will).

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.
If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in. |

600W should be sufficient. I'm currently using a 500W PSU, and I can play just about anything.
I personally would go with Nvidia, but your GPU seems ok.
Everything else is Ok.

Only thing I could add is the case. I know you said you already had one, but when you can, spend the £75 on a Corsair Carbide 600R. The cooling out of the box is great, and you can easily add in a factory sealed unit to provide water cooling for your CPU.
It's the case I'm looking at as my next upgrade.

"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Have you looked at Newegg.com for this hardware? They usually have better prices than amazon. I am pretty sure you can get the Windows OS for much less than that price. Not sure about everything else though. Automatically Appended Next Post: The price on Newegg for windows 7 home premium is about 14% less. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also - The same video card on Newegg would cost about 17% less. Automatically Appended Next Post: I am not going to go through the whole list, but, if you were to order that entire system on Newegg, I would estimate that you would save about 15%. You would save even more with the various promotional and combo discounts that newegg has so many of. I imagine you could save around 100£ or more.

Newegg is only an american site though, i'm sure. Thanks for all the advice. Well everything came except for my powersupply. I got my processor and ram on the motherboard fine but when I went to put it in my case it was about two inches too short. Bought a new case and got the motherboard, graphics card, optical drive and harddrive in fine. Got my PSU a few days ago and realised there were no sata cables with the motherboard, contacted Amazon and they came today but now my monitor is telling me it's not getting a signal from my computer. The fan is working and some lights are on, the memory is defintely secure and all the cables are secure. I've googled it and it could mean my mobo is dead, any other possibilites aside from that? :(
