I have a Quick Question for the People of Dakka

I am running a fast attacking style army with long range Heavy Support mainly whirlwinds, Thunderfire Cannons and Rapier Batteries (Iron Hands) and I was wondering if a Tech marine can fortify an ADL to make it from a 4+ cover save to a 3+

Is an ADL a Ruin?

No you cannot. This question has been asked a few times and the answer is always a unanimous no.

Nope, the ADL is 'battlefield debris', and not specifically a 'ruin'. (similarly none of the other purchasable terrain is 'reinforcable' either fyi)

One thing to remember also though is that vanilla SM are the only ones limited to ruins now, every ones else that has it can bolster any terrain except ones you bought for your army. So still no on the ADL but other armies could do forests or trenches.
