well just got the battleforce to start out a necron army wanted to make a footy necron list about 1500 pnts was woundering what i should be getting next thanks for any help

Footy Necrons equals warrior phalanx. Sooo lots of warriors next.

At 1500 I sincerely don't know, at 2000 pts I may advice you something like this:

I wouldn't personally play this list but I do consider it as a proper footslogging Necrons army.

Try to tweak this list down if you want but remember to do not fall in the same old problem of all the foot-slogging/shooty armies. Pay attention to have at enough CC effectiveness.

Look at 10 or 20 necron lists on this forum, as well as the posted comments. You will quickly get a feel for what is considered competitive.

Get a CCB
Get a Doom Scythe
Get 6 Wraiths
Get 10 Immortals
Get some Crypteks

These + your Battleforce will give you some solid choices

I would suggest doing a simple conversion for the crypteks using praetorian bodies from the lychguard kit and the deathmark heads from the immortal kit. I wish i had... woulda saved me a fortune.

also think really hard for what you are going to make your ark into (unless you are magnetizing it of course) because i made 2 ghost arks only to figure out they were terrible with my army lol.

Footcrons = warrior blobs. Support them with res orb equipped lords and immortals w/ tesla carbines. Ghost Arks are really great and I like to use them as mobile gun boats with Cryptek Harbingers of Destruction. With the 6th ed changes to rapid fire, they have a bigger threat range and AV13 is hard to crack.
